AC7A-F Aluminum Magnesium Alloy equivalent

AC7A-F Aluminum Magnesium Alloy equivalent

(OP)
Hi Everyone,
AC7A-F alloy is JIS AL-Mg alloy, I'm looking for its 5000 series Equivalent. As far as i know, 5000 series are Aluminum alloyed with magnesium, according to IADS (International Alloy Designation System): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium_alloy
According to references I've found, 5086 composition matches well with AC7A-F, however I couldn't find any official documents about it. Can anyone confirm this?
Sorry if this is a basic question, I'm a newbie Mechanical Engineer, so any help is welcome.
Thanks in Advance,

RE: AC7A-F Aluminum Magnesium Alloy equivalent

5xxx series are wrought (rolled, extruded, forged, etc.) alloys. 5xx are cast. The North American grade closest in composition to AC7A is 514 (ASTM A179, ASTM A26, Aluminum Association Pink Sheets). Here is a link that shows various equivalent standards for a few aluminum casting alloys:
