Hi, could some one advice on wha the requirments for transmitting on UHF 2 450 - 470 MHz for Indiana US. Whats the power limit before a license is required. Is there a specific band width to use 12.5 or 25KHz. Thanks Paul

RE: 450 - 470 MHz Radio Transmission Indiana US

In the USA, this is totally regulated by the Federal Communications Commission. The states have nothing to say about it. Check the listings here: http://transition.fcc.gov/oet/spectrum/table/fccta...

You will then need to review the license requirements and restrictions for the various services listed.

I've registered and received an FRN applied under as a Foregn Entity.

For 450-455MHz is says Fixed Mobile for the Radio frequency Spectrum allocation would that cover transmission of RTK corrections for from a fixed base for conducting a survey? I'm trying to select the service option for a new FCC license application but am unsure as to which service option this comes under, I was considering using around 453 MHz if possible for transmission. Thanks Paul
