Tabular Note BoM

Tabular Note BoM

Tabular Note BoM

(OP)
Hello,

I am working on redesigning our drafting templates in NX 8.5. Currently every item is drawn as a line from years/versions past. I am wanting to try and convert the BoM field into a table so the columns can re-size with longer/shorter P/N's. However to keep with our traditional 'look' we typically have (see attached picture) the middle row (blank) filled with a crosshatch. Is this possible within a tabular note? Also at the end column, we have an arrow pointing up to the component levels that other than floating lines, I am stumped on how to include. Anyone know of ways to include these in tabular notes? Or have a better way of creating BoM's within drawing templates?

We use SmarTeam with NX/CatiaV5, so there wont be any external variables that will be injected into the template like I hear can be done with TeamCenter.

Thanks in advance,

Kyle
