Return Title Block to a table

Return Title Block to a table

Return Title Block to a table

(OP)
Is it possible to "unmake" a Title Block. I want to change the size of some of the cells, but I don't want to reamake the whole table.
So my guess is that if there was a way to make a Title Block a table again, I could rearrange and then turn it back to a second and improved title block.

Thanks and regards,

Alex

I'm using NX 8.0.3.

RE: Return Title Block to a table

Not that I'm aware of. I keep an unconverted (still only series of 'tables') 'master' around in case I want to dabble in making changes. I rename it, make my changes and then define the new Title Block.

RE: Return Title Block to a table

It can be possible, but not if you used only one table for title block.

Here is how I am creating a title block:
1. create two tables next to each other. Define everything you need
2. now, create a title block so, that you select both tables.

Now, when I need to change a table in a title block, I do this:
1. click with right mouse button (RMB) on the title block and select edit definition
2. in the Define Title Block dialog box, click on the Select Tables (tables group)
3. now, deselect the table that you want to change. Hold the shift key and click on the table, that you want to remove from the title block.
4. do the edit on this table.
5. if you want to return it back to the title block, click with RMB on the title block. click again on the Select Tables in Tables group and click on the changed table.

I hope, that this Will help.
Regards.

The procedure outlined by SvenBom can be found in the NX help files (search for "editing title blocks"). If you have only used 1 table in your block, you will need to add a dummy table first so that you can deselect the table you want to edit. Delete the dummy table when you are done.
