Hello Eveone.

I am looking for references about the behaviour of ASTM A 213 T12.

Does anybody have a Bibliography where I can Find the maximum temperatures for this material, without worring with creep?

Regards.

RE: Limit temperature ASTM a 213 T12

Have you looked in ASME Section II, Part D? Note T5?

What do you mean about Note T5???

RE: Limit temperature ASTM a 213 T12

The maximum service temperature for time independent properties for this material is based on ASME Section II, Part D, is 900 deg F.

re: NOTE T-5

At the end of Table 1A Ferrous Materials [which your stuff is] there are groups of endnotes:

General Notes (a) thru (f)
NOTES - General Requirements G1 thru G44
NOTES - Heat Treatment Requirements H thru H5
NOTES - Size Requirements S1 thru S9
and the set you need
NOTES - Time-Dependant Properties T1 thru T10

and the last set is NOTES - Welding Requirements W1 thru W15

there are probably more NOTES in some sections now, I'm working from a 2003 book

Lastly, to do ASME Code work, you have to own ASME Code Books. For Sect VIII Div-1 work, that is VIII Div-1 [of course], Sect IX, Sect II-A, -B, -C, and -D, and Sect V. Without those, you are guessing.
