Calculating Heave over a tunnel/underground pipe installation

(OP)
Dear all, im hoping someone can help me.

Were about to progress an under ground drain installation (~12 inches) beneath a carriageway and the client has requested the working depth to be at 1.2m bgl. This is extremely shallow, and id like to enquire about the following:

1. Is heave at he surface a potential risk
2. If it is how can i calculate it (we have no in office software- all we have is lab data from the ground investigation and calculator!! so any formulas or documents you can guide me to would be greatly appreciated
3. If Heave is a risk how do i mitigate it?

The soil from what i understand is fairly dry.

Thank you very much
