How Update some assembly cut into part from assemblies...

Hi, I'm new in Unigraphics 7.5, I did one hole into assembly with command "assembly cut" it's good, but into part file not existed the feature (hole), I want know how create any feature with reference in assemblies and updated in the part file. I attach image the feature in assembly and part........thank for your help!

RE: How Update some assembly cut into part from assemblies...

By definition and design, 'Assembly Cut' ONLY creates features which exist in the Assembly itself. It's used to simulate things like drilling holes after parts have been assembled, either because it's too expensive to try and hold the tolerances necessary for the holes in the parts to exactly line-up, as is often the case with things like welded structures, or where parts are going to have to be moved into a certain position and then held there by bolting them to exactly that location, something that could only be done if the holes for the fasteners were drilled after the parts where positioned in the actual assembly. In these cases, it would be impossible to create the holes in the parts when they are are being fabricated and to include them there would not result in having the parts look like what they would be when manufactured. Therefore, you use 'Assembly Cut' to model what the actual 'manufacturing workflow' is going to be: fabricate the piece parts, assembly them together, position them to the desired location and configuration, and only then do you drill, ON THE SHOP FLOOR, the final set of holes needed to properly hold the parts where they need to be.

That being said, the function that you SHOULD be using is the 'Hole Series' Type in the normal 'Hole Feature' dialog. If you want this to be associative, after setting the 'Selection Scope' to 'Entire Assembly', toggle on the 'Create Interpart Links' icon to the Right of the 'Selection Scope' option field on the Selection Bar before you select the point(s) where you want to drill your hole(s).

thanks, John, but how "create interpart links"?? or how take references to the part from the assembly. For example using the any part sketch into assemblies.

Have you taken any training classes? If not, do you have access to someone or some organization that can provide you with local support or mentoring?
