osnap- running

osnap- running

osnap- running

(OP)
I have a problem with 33 autocad r14.01 users. the running snap (osnap eg. 37)
we all draw with osnap on. Autocad dose not always snap to the point that it shows. the snap point may be .1 to 10 mm away from the end of say a horizontal line.
HAS ANY ONE HAD PROBLEMS. (have been looking for 2 months for the problem and a fix) , system NT 4.0 autocad 14.01, network licence. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: osnap- running

What OSNAP settings are you using?  Sometimes having too many running at once will cause unpredictable results.  We don't use running osnaps here since with a simple shift-right click we get the osnap pop-up menu as needed.

RE: osnap- running

Can't say I've heard of any "bug" like this.

You're saying Osmode=37, right? (endpoint, center, intersection)

Do you have Snap on? ~ or does it happen with Snap off?

The point that gets selected, (off the intended mark-), it's not to another line or object, just out in empty space?

Do you have a real small aperture size selected, try a larger one if so...

What autosnap settings do you have selected? (on the second tab of the Osnap settings dialogue)

Hmmm...

I would guess that if you had a real small aperture setting, and did not have autosnap features like 'magnet' running, that you could actually be missing the 'snap' point...
~ But this seems like too obvious of a solution - I have to think that you're saying you have some kind of 'glitch' happening. Perhaps its a driver problem or some kind of file corruption? Have you tried re-installing?
