Note Dialog box in Drafting

I have a new engineer who is using the same customer defaults and roles as the rest of us. But, for some reason, when she tries to insert a Note, she does not see any of the expanded information for leaders, origin, symbols, etc. All she sees is Origin, Text Input, and Inherit.

We are baffled. When anyone else goes to Insert->Annotation->Note, the full dialog box comes up. Anyone know what I am missing?

RE: Note Dialog box in Drafting

Click on the little gear in the upper left corner of the dialog and choose "show collapsed groups".

she will probably have issues with other menus too, and you can use the same procedure

RE: Note Dialog box in Drafting

Try switching to an 'Advanced' role as that will avoid this issue altogther.

I already tried switching roles (twice), and that didn't work. I always thought that was just a fancy cog symbol put in by someone who likes Gears of War... nice to know its function now.

Thanks everyone, problem solved.
