thread507-38270: Spreader Beam Designe
I just finished a spreader beam calculation for lifting 14ton vessel!!I have now asked to replace tat beam to a pipe wit 6" n 160sch material SA106 or 53!! I have no idea how to calculate this!I'm a trainee engineer her somehow managed the beam calculation with reference but pipe is new!!
Pls do let me know the procedure or any excel sheet calculation!!

You should get someone that knows what they're doing to design it.
