Name inside imported object

Name inside imported object

Name inside imported object

(OP)
We often import part from our suppliers,
and than rename the component.
At the end we export the work in parasolid... and surprise
some solid have the original names of the supplier.
The only place where i have see the original name in NX is with the command
"optimized face".
Anybody know how I can rename or delete this name?

Thanks in advantage

RE: Name inside imported object

Pretty much every object in NX can be given a user defined name. Try right-clicking on the body and choosing -> Properties -> General to see/edit the name of the body. This can also be done for faces, edges, lines, arcs, points, etc.

RE: Name inside imported object

Sorry misread the question, in your case you need to toggle naming Off.
