Arrangements that ignore constraints in NX9.0.1

Arrangements that ignore constraints in NX9.0.1

Arrangements that ignore constraints in NX9.0.1

(OP)
Hi

I am very familiar with arrangements but I never use and I don't know how to use the option "Ignore All Constraints" in Arrangement Properties

So I don't understand the chapter arrangement in "New in NX9.0.1"

I would appreciate if anybody can post an example

Thanks in davence

RE: Arrangements that ignore constraints in NX9.0.1

While I've not personally 'played' with this new capability yet, it appears to be related to other NX 9.0.1 Assembly enhancements involving this new concept of an 'Isolated' Arrangement. As best as I can see, the 'Ignore Constraints' option was added to simply improve user efficiency by helping him/her avoid those actions/edits which are no longer applicable.

Hi John,

"Isolated Arrangement" is new but "Ignore All Constraints" was already in NX8.5

That's why I search an example

Perhaps, but I think the usage of it has changed somewhat due to the new 'Isolate' options and that was why there was an entry for this in the NX 9.0.1 'What's New Guide'.
