local dihedral angle

local dihedral angle

local dihedral angle

(OP)
I am involved in concrete pressure pipe equivalent to AWWA C301.
Here in Europe we have no standards for fittings and our ref. standards are AWWA C208 and AWWA manual M11, but for welding details, to find the local dihedral angles, we have nothing. I found that the calculation procedure is shown on "AWS D1.1/1.1M:2010, Structural welding code-steel, Annex P, local dihedral angle" and "Annex K, terms and definitions"
Is there any kindly soul that can help me ?????

Thanks. Best Regards

RE: local dihedral angle

Sorry rob, but I think that now there might be an AWWA code forum somewhere around here. Drill down a little deeper in the menus and maybe you'll find that one.

I hate Windowz 8!!!!

Thanks !! at last I solved !!!!

PS : info to BigInch : thanks for Your suggestion. I found that Awwa takes AWS D1.1 as a ref. standard. Actually I found the diagrams of the dihedral angles in a previous edition of AWS and I transformed them in an excel sheet with the possibility to calculate any intermediate value

Thanks again !
