Does any one know how to make a Linux install read a Mach Bundle? I switch to mach bundles from A la carte I am having trouble getting my grip_batches to run its acting like there is no licenses

RE: Linux Licenses

Should be no difference from a Unix or Windows install.

Does the Linux license have the Mach Bundle in it?
Can you ping the Linux license server from your workstation?
Does the Mach bundle include a line for GRIP Execute?

I can ping the license server just fine. My linux box uses the same licenses server that my windows stations do. Its in on a windows machine running flex lm and has been for about 15 years. This worked up until last week when Siemens cleaned up all the a la carte out of my licenses file and now it just has the Mach bundles grip author 2 extra gateways. The mach bundles have grip execute in them. I just figured i had to select the bundle like you do in windows.

I used to have stand alone license of grip run-time but i thought mach bundles replaced the need for it

RE: Linux Licenses

Sounds like something that GTAC should be able to help you with.

Just a follow up you have to set your env var for mach bundles when using them in Linux UGS_LICENSE_BUNDLE=NX..... works fine
