simple Section Line FONT change

(OP)
people,

I am busy working away on a complex detail drawing in NX7.5.5.4 MP3, many sections needed
all going OK until i opened the drawing and the section lines for the SECTION cuts have changed their FONT to SOLID,
not our standard and i am not able to find how to get the broken line back

we do run thru TeamCentre ( not sure if that is relevant )

any ideas on how to fix this back again .

thanks i advance ............ Gary

RE: simple Section Line FONT change

When is this manifesting itself? What I mean is, are you seeing this when you look at the Drawing view on the screen or only when you Print/Plot the Drawing? If it's something that is seen on the screen, place your cursor over the 'Line' portion of the Section View symbol and using 'QuickPick' select the 'Line' object and push 'Ctrl+I' and see what is reported for the 'Font' of the line. If it reads 'CENTER_LINE' but shows Solid, then the problem could be in the graphics card/driver. To see if this might be the issue, with the Drawing displayed, go to...

Preferences -> Visualization -> Line

...and at the top of the page change the 'Line Font Display' option from 'Hardware' to 'Software' and hit OK. If the Section Line symbol is still solid, it's not the Hardware, but if you reach this point, I haven't the vaguest idea what's causing this or how to go about fixing it.
