Mesh-to-Geometry Abaqus 6.13

(OP)
Hi,

I would like to use the geometry of a deformed mesh in a new analysis.
In Abaqus 6.13 there should be a tool to do this. However, I cannot find this tool in the programme.
Does anybody know where this feature is hided?

Thanks!

RE: Mesh-to-Geometry Abaqus 6.13

Hi dnstns,

I'm pretty sure that the tool you referred to is the "3D Mesh to Geometry" plug-in that is advertised here:

http://www.3ds.com/products-services/simulia/portf...

I may be wrong but I think this plug-in must be purchased from the Simulia BENELUX office.

You should contact them and ask.

Regards,
Dave

Thanks for your answer.
I saw that plug-in, but I recently upgraded from 6.12 to 6.13 and thought that 6.13 had this already build-in.
I've read this on websites. http://www.exemplar.com/index.php?/ln/it/id_p/8/id... and a similar Dutch website.
Maybe they indeed mean the plug-in...
Thanks again!
