Detail View Label not coming when using Boundary type Label

Detail View Label not coming when using Boundary type Label

Detail View Label not coming when using Boundary type Label

(OP)
Dear All,

I need a detail view with rectangular borders and the label on it in the parent view. The problem I am facing is that in the parent view the View Name is not coming when I use the Label on Parent type to Boundary type. In this case I have to manually place a view label on the parent views detail boundary, which I want to get done automatically with the previous clicks.
NX version used is 7.5.3.

Thanks in Advance!
Regards,
Ishant

RE: Detail View Label not coming when using Boundary type Label

Officially, standards-based Detail views use only circular boundaries. While it's possible in NX to create a Detailed view with a rectangular boundary, NX does not provide any automated labeling options since there are no standards by which to base this on.

Thanks for the prompt reply!

In that case I have to do this manually by using Note. Is there any other method of doing the same?

RE: Detail View Label not coming when using Boundary type Label

Since there's no standard as to where to place a label with respect to a rectangular detail view, I guess you can place the label wherever it looks good, to you. Perhaps it would be best to use a simple label...
