High Resistance Grounding

High Resistance Grounding

High Resistance Grounding

(OP)
What are the pros/cons of high resistance grounding versus solid grounding and low resistance grounding? What is the preference for different applications? What complications does high resistance grounding introduce in drive system applications?

Thank you.

RE: High Resistance Grounding

You should be able to find a lot of information on-line on this topic. It would be helpful to know what voltage level you are talking about because the pro/cons are much different depending on voltage level. At low voltage (below 1000 V) it will be either solid grounding or high-resistance grounding. Low resistance is not a viable option at low voltage.
