I completely forgot how to evaluate scrubber capacity.  If I need to remove 98% of the contaminant in the gas, then how do I go about calculating whether or not this scrubber is up to the task?  I have all the data, short of packing

RE: scrubber capacity

See Chapter 23, "Gas Absorption" of McCabe & Smith.

Thanks, rbcoulter, but the very problem is that all my books are still packed after the home remodeling we did. :D

RE: scrubber capacity

go to www.lantecp.com - send us an email with the operating conditions - and we can check the design
