Dear Members,

I had found a few corrosion/ pitting when I do vessel inspection. some time the damage still can ignore refer to code and standard, but still need to do prevention. What type of repair that I can recommendation in my report?

Lap welded patch plates, butt welded patch plates, and weld overlays are all common repairs for local pitting of steel plates. Pitting over larger areas may require more extensive repairs.
