reordering wok history in catia

Hi,

In SolidWorks when you want to change the work history for any feature you simply grab it from the feature manager tree and then put it in the place you want but how do you do it in Catia V5R20?

In the attached picture, there is no connection between sketch 3 and sketch 4 but still I cant move sketch 4 up above sketch 3.

What is the reason and what are some good tricks you use yourself that can be helpful to me.

RE: reordering wok history in catia

It sounds like you made sketch.4 from selecting a face of a solid. This is a very bad practice. If this is the case, Sketch.3 would be the parent to sketch.4
Right click on Sketch.4 and change the sketch support. Create a plane instead of using the solid face.

Win XP64
21SP7/22SP5, 3DVIA Composer 2013X, ST R20
Dell T7400 16GB Ram
Quadro FX 4800 - 1.5GB

RE: reordering wok history in catia

change the sketch reference ...change sketch support.... positioned sketch...specify the corresponding faces for each sketch.then try re ordering. it works...

RE: reordering wok history in catia

right click on a feature and find "define in work object"

RE: reordering wok history in catia

edit: sorry, didn't read carefully enough.
also try right click on a feature, there is a "reorder something" command somewhere.
