LIGHT GUAGE

LIGHT GUAGE

(OP)
Hello All,
Question related to interface detail between steel column and light gauge roof truss.

We have used steel framing (Header and Jamb) at large window opening area, where as the basic system is light gauge stud wall and truss at roof. Now the question is how we connect the steel jamb (column) at the top roof. Both at perpendicular and parallel direction.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thank you

RE: LIGHT GUAGE

Connect it to the top support as similar as you can to the connection you're using for your CFS jambs.
