Hi
How to unload model for example move back stamp, in sol 601 (advanced nonlinear)?
I see that multiset is deactivated in sol 601.

RE: load unload

add a second set with a (near-)zero load and calculate as multiset

RE: load unload

(OP)
but multiset works only with static nonlinear
it don't works with advanced nonlinear (i can't click multiset, the button is deactivated)

RE: load unload

ok, didn't know that, as i only use the standard. Can't help you then.

RE: load unload

(OP)
lots of time and still nothing...
i tried modify "..vs time" it means:
time 0 displacement 0
time 0,5 displacement 1
time 1 displacement 0

in other words i make "move forward" and "move back"
but program finish analize when "time 0,5 displacement 1" element doesn't move back.

i don't have any other idea to solve problem.
anyone can help me?
THX

RE: load unload

A couple of suggestions, try the following for your time/displacement function definition:
0. 0.
0.25 1.
0.5 1.
0.75 0.
1. 0.

Also make sure the number of time steps * number of increments = 1.0

Are you getting any messages about convergence? You might want to increase the max number of iterations setting to more than the default of 15, might try 25 or even 50.

It might also help to post the NXSTRAT entry from your .dat file.

jbrackin you have right :D:D:D
i increase increase the max number of iterations to 50.

Now upper die move up.
Now i wanna observate if material move back. Material = element between press die.

BIG THX jbrackin :D
