What needs to be done to set up a plot que on a Win NT machine running UG.

RE: Unigraphics plot que on WinNT

You need to set up a queue on your server and then have the workstation point to the server queue.

Also, you need to have the plot queue on the workstation set to login to the server queue.

It is all explained in the UGIIPQD manuals.

RE: Unigraphics plot que on WinNT

Thanks for the info.  That is currently what I have done.  I entered the IP address of one of the Unix Boxes that has a plot que running on it and have been able to plot now.  Our system admin is running plot ques on all the unix machines.  Is this a good thing or could it cause issues?

RE: Unigraphics plot que on WinNT

That shouldn't matter. It will allow the NT users to pick on different Unix boxes. Also, it depends on how spread out your workstations are and if they all have access to the same plotters.
