RE: Fatigue analysis Nastran

Dear Luisa,
NX NASTRAN do not perform fatigue analysis, but you are lucky: winLIFE for FEMAP can do the job perfectly. You can perform fatigue analysis using stresses from any type of loading, including thermal stress. You can donwload a DEMO version of winLIFE, limited in model size, please visit http://www.iberisa.com/productos/winlife.htm or directly the developer in Germany http://www.stz-verkehr.de/e_index.htm

Best regards,
Blas.

RE: Fatigue analysis Nastran

If you have access to MSC Nastran 2013 or higher versions, you can use Nastran Embedded Fatigue to run the stress analysis and the fatigue analysis in a single job. Otherwise, you need to run stress job in Nastran, and use a fatigue analysis tool to run the fatigue simulation.
