Silly Question- Orienting view to X,Y,Z

Silly Question- Orienting view to X,Y,Z

Silly Question- Orienting view to X,Y,Z

(OP)
Morning all-

I'm sure it's something of a "blind spot" with me- but I can't see a way of moving a view to get exactly as I'd like- Ideally I'd want to click the function, then click a line representative of X, then a line to be Y, job done. rotating 90 degrees would also be a bonus, as you can when orienting a view in a drawing.

Is there any function out there that can do this?

Thanks

Simon

RE: Silly Question- Orienting view to X,Y,Z

create an axis with your 2 lines, then create the view based on the XY plane of the axis
