Dividing Assembly structure

Dividing Assembly structure

Hello,

When i importing an assembly step file into NX it default generate all the parts in one windows folder.

Is it possible to divide all the sub assembly into different windows folder? So jou will see the assembly structure back but then in windows folders?

Thanks Kapil for the reaction,

Does somebody know a way to do this maybe outsite of NX (with macro's in excel files)?

RE: Dividing Assembly structure

How many parts are part of the entire assembly ?

There really is no way that I can think of to do what you want.

RE: Dividing Assembly structure

The only way is to do it manually after the assembly has been imported into NX.
