Butterfly valve body top flange thickness question

Butterfly valve body top flange thickness question

(OP)
Hi, all, another question about butterfly valve.

How to determine the top works thickness and how to determine butterfly valve body neck length?

Thanks in advance

RE: Butterfly valve body top flange thickness question

This is not always given as a standard. If not:

Thickness: Enough to support a normal actuator and all probable loads (torques) and not less than standard thickness for a pipeflange at the given pressure norm (??? others?).

Length: Enough to give room for spindle length sealing and bearing at the given pressure class/fluid/operation conditions/ mechanical forces (inclusive cooling distanse if high temperature valve).
