Assembly sketch

Assembly sketch

Assembly sketch

(OP)
Hello,

I have a sketch that I want to add in an assembly in order to model it as a 1D element during simulation. When I click to add part and select the part (sketch), it does not appear in the assembly.

Thanks

RE: Assembly sketch

Hi,
Please check the reference set (i guess it is set to MODEL in your case). Change it to Entire Part.
Best Regards
Kapil

RE: Assembly sketch

Or if there are other objects in the Sketch file file that you do NOT want to see in the Assembly other than the Sketch itself, then in the part file contining the Sketch, edit the 'Model' Reference Set so that it ONLY contains the Sketch and its curves.
