Materials for salty water processing

Materials for salty water processing

(OP)
Dear Experts,
I'm working on a chemical process involving salty water, acetone and <3% of (heavy) vegetable oils and dissolved solids.
The process consists of a distillation under slight vacuum to recover acetone as distillate.
Vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, columns and ejectors are used at moderate operating conditions (ie P < 10 barg and T in the range 40-90°C).
I'm not an expert of this field and so I haven't a clear idea of which kind of construction materials could be conveniently adopted.
What are the industry practices for processes (like evaporation / concentration of sea water, as a first example) where the following aspects shall be taken into account:
- corrosion by salty water;
- fouling by salts, biological matter, oils....;
- effects of slightly acid environment generated by the oils;
- effects of water/choride entrainments with acetone;
- others... that I can't imagine up to now winky smile
Ideally, I'd prefer advices from real plants more than theoretical suggestions but I'll be grateful for any kind of help/info.
Thank you and kind regards,
poli

There is a ton of info.
In general the focus would be pH, chloride content, temperature. These are the factors driving the corrosion.
