Testing criteria for Solar Panel frame systems

Testing criteria for Solar Panel frame systems

(OP)
I've been looking for ASTM standards specifying a criteria for solar panel perimeter frame systems installed on roofs.
I have a client who wants to manufacture his own frames and connection hardware.
As a structural engineer, I'm sure of what I would look for in a testing criteria (pull out test, deformation of the framing, wind tunnel testing), however I'm having a hard time figuring out what would be an ideal factor of safety, number of test samples that should be done, etc.

I'd appreciate any input on where to look for these. This forum has always been good for info. Hope I can find it for my case this time.

Thanks

RE: Testing criteria for Solar Panel frame systems

I am not aware of an applicable ASTM standard. Take a look at the following:

IEC 61215
UL 1703
