Hello,

We are having a problem here with our condenser coils on our chiller system. The standard copper / al coil with blygold treatment is corroding and need to be replaced with coil with a better protection.
We have suggested to replace it with a coil with a Carrier E-coating, but our contractor is suggesting an E-KOTE, this is a shine coating with a green colour. The problem is I have never seen this coating and cannot find any details of it on the net.
My question is, if you know this coil protection, how well does it behave in an industrial and coastal area.

I just typed E-KOTE on my computer and a whole bunch of sites showed up. Once you identify the manufacturer, discuss the situation with them.
