Error when exporting 2d mesh NX 7.5

(OP)
Hello,

I have been trying to export a 2d mesh from advanced simulation in NX 7.5. I have the simulation file open and go file>export>simulation. The export window appear and it runs fine up to the point where it say error cannot open C:user/use rid.diag. The run data also says that it has skipped all thin shell elements?

Can any one help with this.

Cheers

Richard

RE: Error when exporting 2d mesh NX 7.5

Dear Richard,
Surely you have a problem in the model. No need to export anthing, simply tryto solve the model, then NX AdvSim will write the NX NASTRAN input deck with the extension *.dat in the same directoy of the *.PRT or *.SIM files. If the analysis is succssfull, then you have the nastran model. If any error exist, check the *.F06 file and search for word FATAL, this will describes the error.
Best regards,
Blas.
