Please tell me Normalizing Time and Temp. For X65 API Steel Plates with Ceq= 0.335 and 2mm thickness?

RE: Normalizing Time&Temp. for X65 Steel?

The austenitising temperature would be around 925 deg C. However, the holding time at temperature of ~30 minutes may lead to some grain growth and de-carburisation unless you have very good control over furnace atmosphere.
There would be loss of strength since mechanical properties are achieved by quenching and tempering.
