I've been having some trouble cutting stainless, it cuts through just leave a nasty burr on the outside. could my settings be off?

I'm pretty new at this so if I'm not being clear let me know. Currently cutting 3/8 stainless.

Focus. If you have a NT machine its different. I would say just keep moving it down 0.040". Keep doing that till you loose the cut. Then come back up 0.040"
