Lockdown save location in native NX?

Lockdown save location in native NX?

Lockdown save location in native NX?

(OP)
Is it possible to lock down the location we can save to in native NX? We've had some users inadvertently save items on their desktop pcs which doesn't help when sharing files :) Our library is on a networked U:\ drive. Thought there may be a control in the ugii_envir.bat file.

RE: Lockdown save location in native NX?

Hi Swale,
I guess you can keep some tab on it (not completely if the user starts creating it on desktop right from the begining) by specify it in the customer defaults GATEWAY/GENERAL/DIRECTORIES...part file directory option.

Thanks Kapil i just checked and we have this in place now. I thought there maybe a method to not allow items to be saved locally.
