(OP)
hii all..

i need some help from you all.
my question is how to make a surface of vertical plate always isothermal or isoflux (natural convection cases on vertical plate). i hope i get some information about it from you guys.

thanks.

RE: how to maintain vertical surface always isothermal or isoflux (natural convection case)

the end use would be good to know for better consideration.

otherwise, one of many options:

for isoflux: heater constant qs'' pad attached to a plate with the back side insulated.

for isotemp: a series of heater pads with temp control for each. Again, backside insulation would help.

RE: how to maintain vertical surface always isothermal or isoflux (natural convection case)

a little more details about the environment to which the plate is exposed would be good so that reasonable answers by the participants can be provided.
