thread560-290901: How to convert ECAD Files to 3D PCB model in Catia V5

@ggonz:
As asked in your above thread, it is also possible to import 2D PCB layouts to Catia (or SolidWorks) without STEP or IDF files by using this Native-Board-Import (NBI) Software:

http://www.sts-development.biz/de/native-board-imp...

All details like components, nets, copper areas, drills, ... are available in the resulting 3D model.
As import format the ODB++ layout file is used, which can be created by nearly all ECAD Layout Tools.
