Reusable assembly

Reusable assembly

Reusable assembly

(OP)
Hi,
I've created an assembly like this http://www.aegiclamps.it/prodotti_collari_fermatub...
Each component of this assembly is a part family.
It's possible to add this assembly on a tube via Reuse Library in a manner that recognize the diameter tube and auto-configure itself with the best matching or via manual selection so if I select the correct base component the other components in the assembly change their dimensions parametrically ?

Thank you...

Using NX 8 and TC9.1

RE: Reusable assembly

put your complete assembly into the reuse library, create a krx file from the assembly file, no special definition.
open a new file in nx and add the assembly file from the reuselibray /drag and drop / to the new file - the dialog will offer a clone option. give it a try ...
maybe you are ...
