Total part cut length

Total part cut length

(OP)
I'm looking for a way to have our total part cut/burn length (combination of outside & inside) for our SW part files and have this total distance information displayed on our drawings? I'm sure this would involve a macro or something similar to achieve this and was wondering if anyone else has done this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

RE: Total part cut length

No macro needed. Add some dimensions on your part or assembly and then add an equation to sum them all. Add that named sum to your drawing or drawing template sourcing from the part properties.
