Strength Wizard where are you?

Strength Wizard where are you?

Strength Wizard where are you?

(OP)
Morning,

One of our users would like to test out the NX Strength Wizard.

I've just seen a video on you tube from NX6 where strength wizard is found under the Analysis menu when in Modelling.
But it's not there in NX7.5.

Presumably it's been replaced with some other named function, can anyone tell me where it's gone?

Have tried command finder (no joy) and I'm unable to search NX7.5 help files due to JAVA updates sad

Thanks in advance, Carl

RE: Strength Wizard where are you?

On the Resource bar on the left (or right), there's a "Process Studio" tab (magic wand with a colour spectrum). In there is "NX CAE Stress Wizard" template. Pick it up and drag it into the graphic window while having the part you want to analyse displayed.

Thank you Chris, the rename makes sense really!

Have sent the engineer a you tube NX7.5 stress wizard video now so he can have a go, will see what happens.

Quick help appreciated :D

No problem. Have fun!

RE: Strength Wizard where are you?

Hm,
- didn't the "strength wizard" become the "Design simulation" found under "Start- " ?
- I think it did.

Tomas
