Water injection - Injection process & Treatment of water

(OP)
I am presently working on the preliminary design of a Control & SCADA system for a water injection system for oil wells. I am trying to do this for a system that was designed nearly 15 years ago, yet never implemented and am working from poor copies of an incomplete set of drawings which are also in Russian.

I am looking for some reference information on the process of water injection systems, in particular the water treatment (including de-aeration/oxygenation) stages prior to the transmission, pressure boosting and distribution stages.

Much appreciated if anyone can point me in the direction of some online resources to help fill the gaps in the information I have at hand.

RE: Water injection - Injection process & Treatment of water

Hi,
Although it is many years since I was involved with water injection, I, like you, had to start from scratch.  I found a book which I thought was very useful.  It has taken me ages to locate a copy on the web, but I am sure that this is the book in the link below ...sorry, although I still have it somewhere at home, it is some 9,000 miles away from where I am now working!!
You are welcome to further information that I may be able to summon from the dark corners of my brain ...I'll watch out for comments on the thread.
