Tar burning

Tar burning

Can anyone help with sourcing an air atomised lance and nozzle to inject tar into a furnace which is maintained at 1250deg C.
Due to other constraints the tar(a waste product) can only be heated in a vented to atmosphere vessel to a temp of say 120degC.(Flash point is 196degC). At this temp the tar is at a viscosity of 410cSt.(Its characteristic is close to bitumen).

The atomisation does not need to be as efficient as a conventional burner firing into a furnace because there is a high temp (1250degC) maintained in the furnace by other gas burners. Also there is plenty of combustion air within the furnace.

Flow rate is 80kg/hr max (SG at 120deg ~ 1.22kg/litre).

RE: Tar burning

There is a patented air atomized burner nozzle ideal for the stated purpose.  Off the shelf types would exhibit a plugging problem with tar.  I attempted to send design details to the above address but the address did not function.  Do you have another address?

Thanks for your response. That actual project didn't go ahead, but I am now in business for myself in the combustion industry and would still appreciate the details for future applications. My contacts details are as below.
