Troubleshooting Macros

(OP)
What's the best way to troubleshoot macros? (I'm entirely ignorant of all things macro - at this time.) - If I get an error message- 'An API Call Exited Abnormally' - I figure it's a macro that I inherited from a model - that I didn't create. If it comes to it, I'd be happy to attach my model - however it could be an easy fix, such as - a model that contains macros is inserted into a non-macro assembly, must do 'x.' Is this a possibility?
