X-Y ploy for a big model

X-Y ploy for a big model

X-Y ploy for a big model

Hello Everybody,

I know how to draw X-Y data like Stress-strain curve, however my model is very big, so I can not select the whole model because the number of elements is very big, I need to divide it into smaller parts. I found that i need to divide my model into 25 parts, then extract the X-Y data for every parts then combine them to get the final X-Y curve.

This is a tedious process. Is there any idea about extracting

RE: X-Y ploy for a big model

you can use python scripting to extract the data, other than that I don't know (the limit is indeed too low, i haven't found a way to change it)

Hello Sdebock

i want to draw the stress-strain curve. Can you teach me how can i do that using python. I am not very familiar with pyhton. So i wish you could give me enough information.

Thanks

Sdebock

I sent you a very simple input file, i need to draw the stress-strain curve (S33-LE33) for the coal-1.coal. This model is just uniaxial compression test.

my original model is similar to the model that i sent to you, however the dimensions are much bigger and more finer.

Please Help me with the stress-strain curve, right now i am reading the manual.

Thank you so much.

Hello Sdebock,

Please help me, I sent you a simple model which is similar to the original big model, and i need to draw the average S33-LE33 for the coal-1.coal set, As i told you i know how to do that for small model, however for a big model, i should use python, but i did not study python before, i am reading the manual now. please help me.

Thank you.
