Sequencing smooth motion.

Sequencing smooth motion.

Sequencing smooth motion.

(OP)
Hello,

I'm try to make a simple movie with Assembly Sequence.
The problem that i have is that when i move the piston of a hydraulic cylinder 200mm the motion jumps from begin to end point in just one frame, so the motion is not smooth.
On youtube i see motions in sequencing mode that move very smooth. Is there a way to set the number of frames per motion.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Sequencing smooth motion.

When you're in Sequencing and you're performing an 'Inset Motion' operation there's an icon on the menubar that shows a hand point to what represent the display screen which is labeled 'Motion Record Preferences'. Select it and you will find settings to change the "step Size' as well as the 'Number of Frames' for each motion operation. Then when playing a sequence there's also an option to control the speed of playback. Note that if you use the built-in video capture, the 'Export to Movie' function, the video will be synced so that it captures one 'video frame' per 'sequence frame'.

Thank you John.

I still have some problems with the playback speed of the movie.
I have a frame that can move with hydraulic cylinders. On that frame we can mount a machine to test the machine
If i create a movie with only the frame (the machine is suppressed)the creation of the movie takes less than a minute. The movie plays in a normal speed and the playtime is 15 seconds.
If i make the machine visible and create the movie, it takes about 30 minutes to create the movie. The movie is now almost 20 minutes long and the movement is barely visible.
I solved this with Windows movie maker and turned up the play speed by 64 times.

I can understand that it takes much longer to calculate the movement if the assembly is bigger, but that should not influence the playtime of the created movie.

But for now my problem is solved.
