seek wood building analysis software for later and gravit;y loads

(OP)
Hi everyone!

I am seeking to find and purhase software for the structural design of wood structures that will do both lateral design and gravity design.  I saw one about 1 year ago but lost the address.  Can anyone give me any leads on this?

Thanks and have a great day!

David

RE: seek wood building analysis software for later and gravit;y loads

I have never used this product but there is a program out there called WoodWorks.  If I recall correctly, it has different modules which includes framing design (joists, beams, etc), column design and lateral design (diaphragm and shear walls).

please do a research on the product for limitations before purchasing.  sometimes, after you pay alot of money for something, you realize it doesn't do what you thought it would do.
