Autodesk Simulation Mechanical VS Ansys

Autodesk Simulation Mechanical VS Ansys

Autodesk Simulation Mechanical VS Ansys

(OP)
H,
we are comparing different software FEM and CFD for the introduction in the company.
We focus on small / medium appliances.
We need structural analysis, thermal, and drop test and in a future, CFD.
To date we have compared ANSYS and Autodesk Simulation Mechanical.
Ansys there are no words to describe. It is the reference ranges in many fields.
Autodesk Simulation Mechanical (ex Algor) is very user-friendly yet powerful.
What do you recommend?
Has anyone tried one of these?

thanks

RE: Autodesk Simulation Mechanical VS Ansys

We use Ansys for all above; has handled everything well. Hardest part is managing the licenses! Can't compare to Autodesk product.
