I have an issue with my drafting views. The lines are all gray and solid if I plot they are correct. If I change there attributes the color line type etc there is no change in views. this is a global issue. I'm running V5 R19 I tried to reload software but problem is till there.

settings might be involved as Ferdo said.

You can just turn this option off (Filter Generated element) :

My IT guy is reformatting my workstation I will need to reload Catia try this,
I will get back when he is completed.

That was the problem visual filter was on. I do not use the from much but I read it and learn a lot.

I appreciate this resource and all you guys involved.

Question when or how is this function used not start an other thread or should I?

we used this function to check that drawing views are generated from 3D, you will see by yourself that if you draw a line or any geometry in a generated view, some geometry will be grey (from 3D), some are plain black (not generated from 3D)...
