Generating model from text

(OP)
Hello all,

I would like to define my model geometry from a series of point.

Assuming that I have a cube (2x2x2) between two rigid surfaces (3x3) which is being compressed is there any relatively short way to describe this problem as an input for ABAQUS?

I want to generate a lot of .txt files with various dimensions and loads so this will be extremely useful.

I cannot find any tutorial that doesn't involve python scripting? Any insight? Thanks!

RE: Generating model from text

Look at your online Abaqus Example Problems Manual. You'll find plenty of .inp files there as examples.
